This book is taking me forever. I keep having to use kindle lookup feature for words, sayings, locations, and customs. And it's totally preying on my attention deficit tendencies. "Barcelona on the Mediterranean shore you say? Let me just go look at a map..." Then I'm reading Wikipedia for an hour about the colonization of Spain. "why is Argentina mentioned? " Leading to reading about the colonization of South America for a while. When i remember I'm supposed to be reading a book, i have to back a couple chapters because i forget what's going on! This probably won't be a problem for others, but I'm having major trouble getting into this book and staying there.
