The story is spending a bit too much time wandering in the woods... reminds me of Outlander (The tv show & the book).
Still enjoying it. A little too much info though. Thieving brothers, monks, medicinal herbs, 2 sets of knights, a talkative corn farmer, and the list continues. Not much development of the main characters. About 150 pages left. Enjoying the very beautiful descriptions of the Scottish countryside.

I am actually enjoying this story, even though, as I'm reading it I'm seeing similarities from 'Once a Princess' by Johanna Lindsey and the princess trilogy from Christina Dodd.

So far not an unpleasant read. Prologue is interesting.
