Wonderful, heartwrenching novel. Merritt moves from Maine to South Carolins after inheriting her husband's grandmother's home. Unexpectedly her stepmother and her 10 year old half brother show up and her deceased husband's brother. It is a book with serious subject matter that still makes you laugh.
