Okay normally by the time I'm a third of the way through a book, I've decided whether I like it or not - not this time. I still don't really care about any of these characters? Everyone I know that's read this has recommended it to me so I guess I will proceed!

Nevermind, I've figured out that it's not that I dont care about any of these characters, I just find the Arthur Leander/Jeevan/Miranda storylines very uninteresting. I'm hoping they'll redeem themselves by eventually tying into the post-apocalyptic storyline in an interesting way.
