This is very pretentious writing. Full of pseudo profound discussions, unnecessary similes, pseudo poetic details. This 300 page book could’ve been written in a 100. The protagonist is dull and tries very hard to sound smart.
The story seems interesting and has enough suspense to not make you quit midway.
