The more and more I get further in this book, the more I start to dislike Alina, think Samuel is bland and protective boyfriend, and fall more in love with Duncan. Duncan is so in love with Alina that he will do anything, but it doesn't make him into an idiot like Sam. Alina knows she wants to be with Sam, but doesn't address her feelings for Duncan. And Sam, I hate how he disregards everything between Alina & Duncan

Samuel definitely has more of a personality in this book so far, but his personality is still protective and quite. He literally doesn't tell Alina anything unless she hassles him, but even then, he'll only tell her his feelings that are on the surface. Luckily Alina picks up on quick though. You would think after being 250 years old, he would learn to be more open.
