A beautiful introduction to the classical music of Afghanistan, and how musicians and institutions have been affected by war and migration.

I’m yet to watch the accompanying documentaries, but that might bump the rating up further.

A little disappointed no techniques are explored. This is more an ethnographic sketch. It could similarly benefit from incorporating a more modern journalistic style.
