I've been on a bit of a manga kick recently. In total, I've read 58 volumes of manga over the past three weeks! But it feels like cheating to list all of them in my 'Read' count, so I'm going to limit myself to adding the first volume and giving that my rating for the whole series.

Idyll Why is it cheating? Isn't the idea of marking them to keep track of what you read and how you liked them?

I am always curious why people use Goodreads. Each person seems to have a different reason. What is yours?

Athu I use GR to stay on track with my reading and documenting what books I've read. It felt like cheating because when I set my goal for the year, I was thinking in terms of novels and non-fiction books. But, hey, you can't predict what phase you'll end up in.

I thought about this a bit more after I posted. I realised I wouldn't think twice about adding all the volumes of Sandman or Osamu Tezuka's Buddha, so... I'm just going to go ahead and add all my manga to GR lol
