Can anyone explain to me the meaning or significance of the last sentences in Chapter 6, on page 178. "One vast, constantly moving organism, evolving as it moves and always moving. It 'worlds', he smiles. The thing itself. It worlds. It is worlding." I have no idea what that is all about.

I'd rather watch paint dry! A third of the way through this book and I reckon it’s just a waste of words. Tedious, disconnected, submurged (sic) spelt incorrectly on page 95. Mandy seems to be in Canberra and then suddenly in the sea in her bra and knickers. Don’t understand the time / place shifts and the story is meant to take place over three months in 1977. Who cares about Michael. I’ll keep you posted.

Just taken a break and read a transcript of an ABC interview with the author. In a reading Steve n said 'It is us. We are it. The thing itself. It worlds, it is worldling'. I can’t wait for that to chop up again.
