the first 35 pages of misery were about a man named paul got into a car crash. He got revived by a random woman that was a huge fan of this person Paul’s books so she brought him to her house to take care of him.
In the car crash he shattered his leg and could not move. Paul starts to become suspicious and keeps on asking the lady why she brought him to her house instead of the hospital.
