Useful annotations.

The edition I’m reading is published by Random House as “the only comprehensive edition.” It includes several passages cut by Mark Twain and also includes specimen pages of Twain’s manuscript, illustrating some of his revision process. Restoring deleted passages may be controversial, but I’m glad they’re available in at least one edition of this remarkable novel.
