Kelemahan buku ini fatal bukan main. Karakter2nya ga menarik, datar, dan ga berasa variatif. Lo ga merasa terikat dengan mereka, in the end lo ga peduli sama kondisi mereka. Akibatnya adegan aksinya jadi hambar bukan main.

Interesting and fascinating world bulding but the characters are lackluster to the point of very one dimensional. Worse, they are boring! Better over the top one dimensional character than boring ones. God! So much potential wasted I felt so sad.

This is classic english gothic story narrative with a bit of modern twist (the mentor is eccentric masculine female for example) but overall still follow the classic rule, saving the damsel in distress.
A bit dry if you like something character driven, this is more atmospheric story.
