Now that I’ve started reading this as the research project it is and not a book for general audiences the repetition doesn’t bother me because it’s standard.

It’s such a surprisingly interesting topic and I’m so mad at the struggles women have been through in the past. (Not that these are over)

It feels as if, in a bid to avoid confusion with whatever topic she’s discussing, the author repeats herself. And in most causes it can be avoided if she reworded.
