I love this series, but this book frustrates me in parts. I feel like Ash's actions and the reasons for them should be so obvious, especially to Sloane. I can maybe cut Dex some slack, dut to their mutual animosity, and the fact that his got his big-brother protector suit on, but even so, the fact that no one even raises the question that there is a plausible reason for his actions bugs me.
