Just completed Book I. It's a real effort to slog through this. The language is archaic, units of weights and measures are unfamiliar, and I still don't follow the old English monetary system. Much verbiage is spent describing the differences in relative values of grain, labor, and rent (and the relationship between the three). But the last four pages of Book I provide a payoff that may be worth the effort.
