Have picked this up again after a break. Fascinating insights into the fight for women's rights pre-WW1 and the suffragette movement. We take so much for granted today that these women really fought for. Also scary insights into treatments of mental illness at the time :/

OMG noooo!! That is horrible. But some doctors did once use those sort of treatments. *shudders*
