The heroine is so inconsistent. She's confident and cocky all the way up to the crucial moment, then always fails miserably even though the gods are apparently on her side. This story suffers from: a)contrived character flaws used to prolong the story and b)infallible villain syndrome. I can't wait for the deus ex machina that I'm sure will bail her out in the end.
