While there's little 'action' in this book, there's a lot to think about. For those, like me, who are introverts and have a tendency toward reclusiveness, learning something about the life of this man who lived in the Maine woods for 20+ years, is instructive. The author does a good job of exploring the positive and negative aspects of living alone.
