So far after the first chapter, no new ground has been covered on film-noir theory. Curious, though to see how this develops. A lot of paraphrasing and quoting of sources, however, without much attribution. Aside from it not being MLA-friendly, I'm not keen on the lack of sources because I like to chase down those rabbit holes and discover new stuff to read.
