If I don't look forward to reading this book I think I should just stop. Beginning to skim a lot. It's too bad because the author writes very well, the subject matter is just too predictable. It's a cut and dried fantasy at this point and if it doesn't improve I will have to give up.

I hate coming off the high of a really good well written book and then go into something less than spectacular. Granted I am not that far into this one, but so far the writing is very immature. I'll keep going through....
