That’s it? Where is the conflict? They “built” up this court case and it’s over in 5 min? Wtf

Ugh the writing.....

“Hi, I’m Adam, I own Heathens. You’re looking for a job?” Adam eyes up the guy, clearly taking inventory of the ink on his arms.

“Owen,” the man introduces himself, holding out his hand to Adam. “Yeah, I’m looking for a job.”

Also, that’s it with Nash’s mother? Really? No explaining more, no telling her off for calling Liam a she?

How are the always walking through doors hand in hand in hand. They must look a little silly?

Wait, this teen seems to be abused, looks scared, Nash just explained he came off as threatening, yet she jumped right into the car with him? NOPE

Right, all 3 of them were able to come at the same time?

And already we have a mistake! I’m book 1 we are told it’s Friday Night happy hour. In book 2 we are told it’s Thursday night drinks after work. Seriously

I disliked the first book yet here I am reading the next. And I don’t normally do 3 ways ....
