I promise, I’m still reading this! Thanks for everyone who’s been so patient as this notoriously slow reader finishes this book up.
As for the book itself, for the most part the writing just goes right over my head, but I LOVED those paragraphs about the beach. Excited to see how the past and present come together.

This isn't really what I'm used to, this more dense book, both physically, in its subject matter, and in its style of writing as it's very lyrical. Yet I'm really enjoying it, to much of my surprise. I can't wait to read more and then discuss it in the group. Hope I can finish this one by the end of the month!
