This is one goddamn long book and to think that I am reading it for the second time. I must be nuts! It is, however, quite wonderful, in my view.

Since the print edition is about 950 pages, I am the equivalent of 570 pages into it. And, this is the second time I have read it, the first being about 20 years ago. I’m pretty sure it has grown since then but, then again, haven’t we all?
