Melissa > Status Update

Sadly, I'm considering giving up on this one. It started off well enough, but it rapidly descended into what I deemed to be a weird Dungeons & Dragons style parody that I couldn't take seriously. The only remotely interesting character with any depth is Aaron Frith, There are two pages of praise from the moment you open the book, which, if you've been a fan of fantasy long enough, you will know to be unfounded.
