Russian premier Nikita Khrushchev wanted to visit Disneyland in 1959 but the U. S. government wouldn’t let him. Enraged, Khrushchev wondered what the park was hiding - his guesses included cholera, rocket-launching pads and gangsters. Later Walt Disney planned a movie based on the event, a wacky comedy called Kruschev in Disneyland.
