In this book, Mike Kowalski was on his way back home. On his way home, he comes across a girl standing in the middle of the road which he offers her a ride back to her house. He drops her off in the middle of nowhere, when leaving he realizes that she has forgotten her shoes and returns them back, which he finds out that the girl died at least 53 years ago. He then goes to the cemetery to find the truth.
