Wow. This is a depressing book. Allow me to summarize the diary: "I was lost and depressed. Depressed. Depressed. Found salvation! Happy! I got kicked out of school. I'm not talking about that though. Depressed. Depressed. God is great! Happy! Depressed! Happy! Depressed! Happy! Depressed! I died." End of story. I still recommend it! Great read! Teaches us much about personal piety and self-examination.
