I'm not into baseball & I have'nt read any of Bill James previous titles, but I enjoyed this book. Bill James has a very droll sense of humour, and can argue the facts towards either guilt or innocence with respect of any of the criminal cases presented in his book. The baseball statistician was certainly to the fore in his 'points systems', but the 'criminologist' was the star of the book.
