I'm 2/3 through this and I just can't stand the mother, Cora. I'm thinking if I have to sit through 5 more hours of her cowardly excuses I'm going to be so depressed. I'm seriously hating her now for what she has allowed her daughter to go through. (and herself!) I get it that she's got battered wife's syndrome but geezus... is the story going to move forward?
