I really am wishing this book had focused only on Aruthra's story. I am in love with this character, and the action sequences are, although a bit daft, engaging. It is a bit darker than magician and am enjoying it as a story. Pug is not as compelling this time around, although the family dynamic is a nice break to read, but I am not enjoying the plotline in Kelewan is slightly tedious to read
