Fair confession, I often skim through books. I feel like I've read enough books in the same genre that I can skim/speedread through books and won't miss out on the major story beats.
This is one special series that makes me pay attention to every damn line. Every like is written in a poetic passive language, the majority of the character can't/doesn't speak and portray the story on emotions alone.
A damn good read.
