The statement itself is predatory. Romance is an intimate business?
Would you respond that way to someone raped by a significant other? Well, relationships are intimate.
That's nice. Rape and sexual harassment and the like are not intimate.
I am appalled and disgusted. While I adore authors who have work at Riptide, I will not spend any money there. At all. I can't. See above.
They aren't broken. They can't be fixed. They are just problematic. That's it. You can't fix that.
