This novel, like the 1978 movie it inspired, is bat-shit crazy. It's like Quentin Tarantino, Larry McMurtry, and Louis L'Amour all got together and smoked 10 cubic feet of meth. The plot? In 1874, Wild Bill Hickok and Crazy Horse partner up to kill a giant, mythical albino buffalo that may or may not have supernatural powers. WTF is right. The shock? I'm loving it so far.
