"God put on flesh and walked among us in the person of Jesus. God entered into our world to breathe our same air, eat our food, walk the same streets, and sleep under the same starry sky. With the Incarnation (God in the flesh) as the centerpiece of the Christian message, you would think we would be experts in what it means to walk around in someone else's skin." Yes, you would think that. Now to act it.

I don't see that happening ... that focus on discipleship. Am I missing it, or is my understanding of "focus on discipleship" different from that of the church? If only we would return to that focus ...
