Bob Offer-Westort > Status Update

I haven't run into many books in English that deal with the poetics of the Qur'ān. Robinson's coverage in the first couple chapters of *Discovering* is not novel, but it's clear & accessible. The portion I'm reading now has to do with historical order of the sūrāt, which is probably important from an exegetical point of view, but makes for less interesting reading. I am, consequently, not reading as quickly.
