This is the second time she used the word “rill” in place of real. It’s unbelievably annoying and feels like the author is trying way to hard to be cool. Like the mom from Mean Girls- she’s not a regular author, she’s a cool author.

Seriously?!? Chapter 17. Wow. Clearly written by someone who hasn’t experienced clinical depression. Really harmful stuff to perpetuate the myth that if you’re depressed, you won’t be if you just “think happy thoughts”. Why I am still reading this crap? It has to get better if it was a NYT bestseller, right?!
