I’m not sure the opening scene of this book was very believable. Lady Regina Tremaine, sister of the Duke of Foxmoor and touted as “le belle dame sans merci” (woman without mercy), shows up at Castlemaine uninvited and forces her way into the library to demand that Lord Draker allow her brother to court the Dragon Viscount’s younger sister, Louisa.

What young lady of quality of that day and age would do all this … even on behalf of her brother?
