I am struggling a little bit with this one. I am finding it hard to connect to the characters. I'm not sure if it is the way the book is written or the characters themselves. I also can't understand why they can't come out of the closet. Was this book set in the 80's or 90's? I thought sporting teams were more progressive than this.
