"To the Daemon" is a lovely beginning to the works of CAS; short, lovely, and decidedly weird but the "Abominations of Yando" dials it up to eleven. "Sadastor" introduces the winged demon Charnadis who tells a tale of breathtaking beauty and pathos. "The Last Incantation" brings forth Malygris and his demon Viper, who lives in the head of a Unicorn, to do his masters magical bidding. Bizarre and beautiful.

Finished "The Metamorphosis of the World" and "The Epiphany of Death." Just starting "Murder in the Fourth Dimension" which is a story that always leaves me depressed and listless for days afterwards. Fortunately, the weekend is coming up so my foul mood will not disturb others.
