This is the one I was telling you about a while back, it starts out with the young man being (wrongly) executed for the murder of his fiance and then waking up "reborn" in the mad professor's lab. I had read the first couple of chapters and then put it away to finish reading the Prodigal Son series - and then got sucked into the BDB and forgot about it. Going to try to work my way through it while I'm reading the other six books I currently have going :P
