Who is Lixxa? Where is the white gryphon thing that was in the beginning?
Lazlo giving the dude his spirit is totally going to make it work because he is GODSPAWN. There is no other option for this.

My guess: Lazlo is one of the god spawn...
He was left as a baby and was a "sickly" gray color [the blue had been leeched out of him]
Sarai mentioned that one baby who possessed the same powers as Skathis had been taken away [all babies were taken once they got powers]
Lazlo comes to Weep - Calixte mentions that he is growing blue patches under his eyes [that could be just from a lack of sleep but no]
