Since this was used as a textbook for my history class, we did jump around a lot. I did like how the book read though. It was easy on the eyes and not as dense as some college textbooks can read. I can't comment on the quality of the subject matter, but Roche did a great job in making sure things were thoroughly explained so events could be understood.
