I had a really hard time getting past the gruesome start to this adventure. If only these details were just fiction! Unfortunately, this abuse is all-too-true. But, I'm moving along with the plot line now - intricate as usual, and entertaining. I've managed to get my husband hooked on Inspector Shan, too.

It was a great read, as usual! Eliot Pattison has a formula to his novels, but they take you in different places with different Tibetan issues so it's never dull!
