i'm probably unreasonably upset about this but the protag's parents are TERRIBLE!! they did something unforgivable (imo anyway) and they're not even remotely sorry about it or even willing to acknowledge that they fucked up but it's obvious that the protag is gonna forgive them like nothing happened and i'm very frustrated!!! this book is very fun otherwise but this is slightly ruining it for me lmaooo
