A very sweet and tender story. This book offers many joys but at the same time it also eludes to ugly possibilities. In every chapter, though very subtle, you see God working thru the dog to allow the characters to be honest with themselves. Many of the ugly possibilities fade away, replaced with inner peace. The dog in this book shows his secret power, that no matter what - you cannot lie to a dog. Rated G
