A grief so great would lay a mountain low,
Would make the rush of mighty rivers cease,
But has no power to move the prison bolts
Or reach beyond them to the convicts holes
And the mortal agony.
Some breathe fresh air and feel light breezes play,
Some love the lingering sunset’s tranquil mood,
We don’t know, for us it’s all one place,
