I FINALLY saw (and enjoyed) the new movie and now I’m re-reading the book. Curious what think of this childhood favorite. Re-read it 10 years ago after the author died and was underwhelmed. Hoping to enjoy it more this re-read.

Always interesting to revisit books I have a long history with. I loved Madeleine L'Engle growing up and I loved Meg Murry. I reread it about 10 years ago and was shocked by how little I liked it - the plot was disjointed, the writing style not to my taste. I'm rereading it now after seeing (and liking) the movie. I'm enjoying it more than last time, but I still think it's an odd book.
