More concise than Mountfort’s “Nordic Runes” but not as clear in explanations. Not sure yet which one I prefer as an aid in rune casting. Using both and comparing how each feels. Rune casting feels like such an intuitive art that both books are helpful in their own ways.

More historically accurate, concise, and to the point than most books about runes, runestaves, and runecasting.
