I just finished. It was Good. Different from TSOA, which by its nature was more concentrated in time and characters. This was drawn out over centuries of myths and heroes and Circe at its center, caught between divinity and mortals. There were choices Miller made that surprised me, but never betrayed me/Circe. Portrayals that were lush and nuanced. And its hard to play the line of cruel, unimaginable godhood against the wild, fleetingness of mortals -- to make Circe feel somewhat relatable and yet still distinctly Not Us, but she played that line well. It wasn't a blazing read, but a steady current pulling you onwards.
