Book 1 had fantastic world-building, an exciting plot, and a toxic relationship I hoped would not carry on. So far Griffin: Goes into a rage, trashes a room with Cat in it, manhandles and hurts her, tells her he 'can't be with her', flips out when he can't find her, takes 2 days to check the most obvious place, blames her for leaving with all the 'you should not have left' crap, and tries to guilt Cat into marriage
